On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the Saudi Ministry of Health, in cooperation with several relevant authorities, launched extensive awareness campaigns across the Kingdom. These campaigns aim to promote the concept of mental health among members of society and provide psychological support to patients and visitors.
This year’s campaigns focused on the importance of early detection of mental illnesses, reducing the social stigma associated with them, and raising awareness of the importance of seeking help from qualified specialists.
The initiatives witnessed significant engagement from various groups, most notably university students, healthcare workers, and families, reflecting growing community awareness of mental health issues and the role of modern psychotherapy in improving quality of life.
