The program aims to safely manage withdrawal symptoms and help patients overcome acute intoxication, while providing the necessary psychological and medical care to prepare them for the next stage of treatment and rehabilitation. The department provides a supportive and safe therapeutic environment under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction treatment physicians, and qualified nursing staff. Cases are received in both the Psychiatry Department at Dallah Namar Hospital and the Psychiatry Department at Makkah Central Hospital in Makkah.
